2 month stats

Weight: 13 pounds 3 ounces (85-90%)

Height: 23 inches

Notes:
  • You started smiling at about 7 1/2 weeks
  • You have started to give us a break by sleeping consistently from 11pm to 6 am
  • You no longer have to be held all the time and will take a nap in your bed- we are really glad for this as it was taking a toll on us.
  • Katya seems to be the one to just sit and play with you and you love it.
  • You hold your head up really well and enjoy looking around.
  • We finally wised up and remembered "Baby Wise" and a schedule is working so much better for you and you are happier.
  • Your doctor says you look fabulous and are definitely chunking up.
  • You are starting to outgrow your 0-3 month clothing.
  • You started cooing at 8 weeks and just love to coo at people in long conversations, especially your dad.

Dinosaur Museum

The Monday after Easter we took the girls and my parents to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. They absolutely loved it. They loved it so much that we will definitely be going back. My favorite part of the whole thing its that they can pretty much touch everything and not damage it. I'm sure Katya especially loved the hands on part. This post is picture overload, so be warned.

Cali kept saying she was changing the dinosaurs clothes

Conference Weekend and Easter

My parents were in town for General Conference/Easter weekend so we were able to spend some time with them. On Saturday between sessions we went down to their hotel and had a yummy lunch and just hung out and visited. My grandparents came by and so did a few of my cousins. The girls had a fun time playing with everybody.

The girls with Aunt Megan.

My cousin Amanda and my cousin Alisa's kids

My Grandma and Grandpa Ray and Alisa's kids

My mom with Tenzing

My dad with Tenzing

On Sunday we headed over to Matt and Rebekah's for an absolutely delicious Easter dinner and an egg hunt. Because of the snow, we did the egg hunt downstairs and the kids loved it.

The littlest ones get to go first.

The big kids waiting their turn.

Cali figured out the whole thing pretty quick and was quite happy.

Katya found one egg and that was about all she wanted. She wouldn't let
anyone help her get more because she was convinced that we were trying to steal her
candy. After she ate the candy (wrapper and all because we couldn't get it from her), we
were able to convince her to get a few more eggs.

Easter outfits

Smiling!

It is so much fun to see babies when they first start smiling. Tenzing has been doing it the last week or so and I love it.

All dolled up.

I just can't believe that Katya is almost 4 and this church outfit makes look even more grownup. I love this big girl.
