Jethro is raising the girls well and definitely teaching them his love of computers. They absolutely love playing with the computer and try to at every chance they get. The 2 little computers are for Jethro's classroom and are the perfect size for the girls. When we took the computers away from the girls they both cried. Too funny.

It's been awhile....
Yesterday I realized that it has been quite awhile since I put up pics of the girls. I haven't taken a lot of pics lately and just haven't felt like blogging. I figure I better put some stuff up before everybody quits reading my blog. Now for your viewing pleasure....

There's a party going on....

The Fabulous site 5 Minutes for Mom is hosting a fabulous party with tons of prizes. Click here to check it out.
I'd like to introduce myself to those who are new. I am a mommy to two wonderfully fabulous little girls and wife to an amazing husband. My oldest daughter (almost 3) was born with Down Syndrome and has been such a wonderful blessing in our lives. She is so loving and kind and has taught me so much about happiness, love, and enjoying life. On top of being such a wonderful person, she is a wonderful sister to our 1 1/2 year old. Our youngest is so different from our oldest, but we love it. She is a little more on the serious side and is very attached to me. I love being able to stay at home with my girls everyday. My wonderful husband affords me the chance because he works really hard as a middle school English Teacher. (And just a little shout-out to him- Congrats on finishing your Masters! You did it and I am so proud of you!) When I'm not busy enjoying life with my husband and kids, I love to scrapbook, garden, can our garden produce, sew, read, of course blog, and most recently work on my business- MunchieMe Designs (I'm sponsoring a prize for the contest-#61). I keep myself way too busy, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.
Now head on over and check out the party!
(If I'm so lucky, I would love to win(in order): US58, US102, US49, US19, US27, US21, US26, US118, USC26, US53, US41, US14, USC11, US8, US2)

Favorite Things
I know this has been going around as a tag, so I thought I'd join in without being tagged. There are a few things that I absolutely love and don't want to go without anymore.

1. This is my favorite, favorite thing for card making and scrap booking. I had a hard time finding adhesive that would effectively work with my small Cricut die cuts, especially the letters and words without ripping them. I found this bad boy and absolutely love it. You can do things up to 1.5 inches, but they have even biggrs ones. These things are so awesome because you can stick something (paper, ribbon, other embellishments, pictures (on the bigger machines)) in one end and comes out a sticker. It is so awesome. The cool thing is that it doesn't require any electricity or heat. You can also find the adhesive in permanent or repositionable. So cool.
2. This is such an amazing cookbook for me. I dread cooking because dinner prep happens at the girls super cranky hour and I can't stand to hear them wail. This cookbooks purpose was intended for make-ahead meal groups, but I just love using it to do a bunch of make-ahead meals for my family. My mom was here at the end of February and helped me make 30 meals in 6 hours. It was kind of a long day, but those 30 meals are sitting in my freezer ready to be thrown in the oven. I'd much rather spend 6 hours one day than 1hour + everyday cooking dinner. We tried 5 recipes and they all taste so incredibly good. The nicest thing about the book is that it gives freezing instructions. No more wondering how well a meal would freeze.
3. We love these. If you go to Costco and have not tried them, you are missing out big time. These are the best tortillas. They are thin and you cook them yourself. So easy and so yummy! The girls absolutely love them. You have got to try them!
4. I know I have written about this book before, but I absolutely love it. I can't wait until our garden starts growing so that I can start canning. I have been looking through it and found a bunch of more recipes to try. It even gives you instructions on canning. If you are into canning or really want to start, check out this book.
5. I really want to get back into shape and start taking the girls on jogs and runs. I have really high arches on both my feet- so high you can see daylight through the bottom. My feet and my hips always hurt after running because shoe companies don't make shoes with good enough arch support for my feet. I never thought about getting insoles. Now, I'm never going without them. I went to try to find running shoes the other day and found shoes I liked, but they didn't offer the support I needed. The sales lady showed me the above pictured insoles and my feet have never been happier. They support my arch so well and I love it. I took the girls out jogging a couple of times last week and I had no aching feet or hips. I'm never going without these again.

Two Weeks Ago...
We had to put Katya in her big girl bed officially. This is pretty close to the end of naps for her. The long version is here. It is funny because Katya is laughing with Cali at the end.

Contest Time!
SPT
The theme for this month is Eight Is Great! These 8's are so great to me because this is the time my girls finished eating breakfast this morning, which means they slept in. They have been waking up between 5:30 and 6 for the past week so it was super nice for them to sleep in. (In case you were wondering, the time stamp on the bottom of the post is actually earlier then the time on the clock because I want this post at the top of my blog. Check it out.)

Let's Go Fly a Kite
Katya wanted to fly the kite, and then Cali did, so we let them. Below is Katya's first attempt and Cali's second. Cali let it go on the first one and I had to chase it down. Luckily, no kites were harmed in the making of these movies.

Crackin' the Ol' Egg
Grandpa Ralph taught Katya an old familiar game, cracking an egg on your head (let the yolk run down).
She liked it being done so much to her, she decided to learn how to do it to others, all on her own.
