Why am I so excited for this week?

1. No work for Jethro!
2. I get to spend a day with Megan in Provo!
3. Scouts on Wednesday then a 6 week break.
4. get a bunch of scrapbooking done.
   
5. Finish some much needed projects.
6. Cali is being potty trained!
7. It's summer!
   

"I'm Cute!"

Staci made a wall-hanging jewelry storage area, and some of the necklaces fell off onto the ground this morning. Cali was very quiet in the back room (which usually means she is getting into something she shouldn't be). So, after a few minutes, she came out and declared, "I'm cute!"

Yes, Cali, you are cute.

5 months

Notes:

• You roll over really well from your back to your stomach.
• You eat baby food and love it!
• You love cooing and "talking" to people.
• You have some favorite people- Mommy, Brie, Katya.
• You still sleep really well.
• You love eating.
• You have almost outgrown your 6 month clothing.
• You are a really happy baby and love people holding you- you don't really care who it is.

• You take 2 good 2-3 hour naps a day.

4. Warm weather. It is officially summer today!

6. Jethro mostly off work.

4 month and 4 year stats

Both Tenzing and Katya had their checkups today.

Tenzing
Weight: 17 pounds- 88 percentile
Height: 25.25 inches- 50 percentile
Head: 16 3/4- 75 percentile

He is just growing like crazy and has no problem eating despite spitting up after every meal. Soon we will be trying rice cereal.

Katya
Weight: 29 pounds- about the 66 percentile (on down syndrome growth charts)
Height: 35 inches- about 50 percentile (on down syndrome growth charts)

She has put on about 5 pounds and 4-5 inches in the past year. She is doing really good and is really healthy.

Why am I so excited for this week?

1. Tenzing's 4 month checkup.
2. Jethro's home.
3. Summer free-lunch program.
4. Jones Family Reunion.
5. Tenzing' blessing.
6. My family comes into town.
7. Garden almost all planted, finally.

4 Months

Notes:

• I don't think you can get any chubbier. I love it!
• This week you started to purposely grab things like blankets, toys, hair, jewelry.
• You love to laugh and giggle. You do it when you get your clothes changed because you are so ticklish.
• You wake up from the night laughing and giggling in your room and are so happy!
• You are very easy going. You love it when Katya interacts with you and tolerate her well.
• I think I figured you out. You either are poop, going to poop, or will shortly spit up/burp, when you get super fussy.
• You love sitting up.
• You love chewing on fingers and my wrist.
• You still love being held.
• You seem to be a total momma's boy and suffer from some stranger anxiety.
• Your smiles and giggles are wonderful!
  

Sunday Outing

Yesterday we decided to go on a drive after church. Our first stop was Murray Park. The news said Big Cottonwood Creek was flooding so we went to check it out. (Too bad we didn't go there later. The park was under 2 feet of water this morning and State St. was flooded in two lanes.)



Next we headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon to see some more of the Creek. On the way back down, we saw our first ever wildlife in the canyon. Pretty cool huh?


To top off the day, we had a pretty sweet thunderstorm last night with amazing lightning. Kuddos to Jethro for getting the awesome pics.

Why am I so excited for this week?

1. Garden just about all planted.
2. Tenzing turns 4 months!
3. Free lunch program starts which means the kids get to go to the park.Summer!

1. Memorial Day- family reunion and no work!
2. Planting of my garden.
3. Nice weather for the girls to play outside in.
4. I like cloth diapers! (or maybe I like how much money it will save us).

Why am I so excited for this week?

1. Good weather- I hope it stays all week. Last week was kind of a bust.
2. Last day of preschool.
3. Scouts.
4. Planting the garden.
5. 4 day work week for Jethro
6. Budget
7. Girls have a sleepover Friday night.
8. I like to vacuum.
9. Last cake class.

On Cali's insistence

Cali insisted that this was Tenzing's baby. I think he agrees.

Just a few more months...

Tenzing is getting excited and can hardly wait to watch BYU football with Daddy!
